I always take paths that are overgrown and never used, or I just make my own.
Fall is my favorite season, there are so many cool things happening. I found this flower near a pond, they're interesting because they never "bloom", this is as far as the flower grows.
The grass is all staring to die and go to seed, it looks so cool though!
The Goldenrod is staring to come out too, miles and miles of open fields are just starting to turn yellow, soon they'll all be in full bloom.
Barberry leaves are already turning colors, it willn't be long before the red turns to the deep magenta.
Purple loosstrife, its highly invasive and swallows up wetlands, but the deep purple makes it an amazing sight when it blooms.
The milkweed seed pods haven't started to dry out, but when they do it'll send puffs of white dancing in the fallen leaves.
One of the most lonely sounds in the world, wild geese calling as they fly in crooked Vs across a fall sky. Its something always reminds me summer is finally over.
So just go take a hike, homework can wait an hour or 3. Just let your mind slip, enjoy the last bit of warm weather, put your thoughts on shuffle and go.
